ADHD Medication Management & Lifestyle Medicine

During their first appointment, families are offered a virtual medication consultation to learn more about ADHD medication for their child as part of a comprehensive, evidence-based ADHD treatment plan. Medication consultations are conducted as 60 minute virtual appointments with a Clarity Pediatrics pediatrician; medication follow-up visits are scheduled for 30 minutes, weekly, as needed.

Families who elect the medication consult will receive:

  • Education about stimulant medications for ADHD, with ample time to answer questions
  • Other non-pharmacologic interventions such as nutritional strategies, sleep hygiene, and aerobic activity are also discussed
  • If family elects to start a stimulant medication, it can be prescribed at the end of the consult
  • Clinical notes are faxed to the PCP after the initial medication consult and subsequent medication-related appointments
