Evidence-based parenting tools for ADHD & autism
Developed by the team of experts at The RUBI Autism Network, this behavioral therapy program is tailored to families of school-age children with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder Level 1 diagnoses.
What is RUBI Parent Training (RUBI)?
Similar to Behavioral Parent Training, RUBI teaches parents and caregivers evidence-based parenting techniques that encourage positive behaviors in children. RUBI Parent Training is proven to improve behavior and reduce family conflict by addressing functional, environmental and interpersonal factors.
Raising a child with ADHD and autism can feel like navigating a foreign language — but you don't have to learn it alone. Our evidence-based group therapy transforms individual challenges into shared learning experiences, teaching you the science-backed skills and understanding you need to support your child effectively.
In our expertly facilitated group sessions, families find more than just care—they discover a weekly sanctuary of understanding and connection. Parents who often feel isolated in their journey find validation through shared experiences, learning from questions they may never have thought to ask alone.
This intimate virtual group setting creates a unique space where the struggles of parenting a child with a chronic condition are normalized - it’s an experience and support system that individual care cannot replicate.
Our therapists are the cornerstone of our group therapy sessions, serving as both clinical experts and community builders. They create structured yet dynamic environments where professional guidance and peer support work hand-in-hand.

Why group therapy?
Many parents seeking treatment for their child with ADHD wonder if their child would benefit from individual therapy. Parents may be surprised to learn that best practices for ADHD care for children do not include individual therapy! In fact, the greatest impact on child behavior comes from parent coaching, school accommodations, and medication management of ADHD symptoms.
Parent training provides caregivers with the skills to redirect behaviors so that children can “borrow” from the parent to extend their attention for tasks, regulate their moods, and use friendly behaviors. Parenting strategies often sound easy and basic, but they can be difficult to practice in real life. Our child psychologists work with your family to personalize these skills for your child.
